As a fifth-generation Montanan, Kali brings a deep love and commitment to her community, its people, and the land. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies with a minor in nonprofit administration from the University of Montana. Her professional experience spans conservation, civic engagement, family support, and mental wellness advocacy—all of which inform her thoughtful, people-centered approach to programmatic support. 

MY “WHy”:

My own fear of grief and loss has brought me to this work. When a community experiences loss, that grief is felt by all of us. A resource center like Tamarack creates a dedicated space where feelings can be felt, acknowledged, and held in ceremony with one another. We are each other’s mirrors, and we are far more connected than I think we can even imagine. 

re-charging & delight-finding:

My relationship with the natural world gives me the greatest sense of peace. I feel terribly grateful for where I live and for the privilege of wandering these landscapes—through snow-covered mountaintops, along wildflower trails, around bubbling river bends, or sinking into warm natural springs. Any time I get to experience these treasures with loved ones, it feels like an “a-ha!” moment all over again.
